Keeping Hindmarsh hydrated with $4.8 million in stormwater funding
Member for Hindmarsh, Steve Georganas, has announced another water win in the electorate with the Australian Government providing almost five million dollars in funding to undertake an innovative stormwater capture project at Adelaide Airport.
SA Water will receive $4.864 million dollars in the first round of funding under the Australian Government’s
National Urban Water and Desalination Planto undertake the project, which will store water sourced from the Brownhill/Keswick Creek system on land leased by Adelaide Airport where it will be naturally filtered by the wetland environment.
